World Environment Day Celebrations
In honour of World Environment Day, My Zalu Initiative collaborated with local organizations in Kenya, including Tree Growers Association of Kenya at the Legetet Primary School, for a momentous celebration. Together, we embarked on a tree-planting initiative that aimed to create awareness about environmental issues and instil a sense of collective responsibility. The event witnessed the participation of enthusiastic children and adults, eager to make a positive impact on the environment.
Planting Over 600 Trees
The highlight of our collaboration with local organizations was the planting of over 600 trees at Legetet Primary School. The choice of location was intentional, as it allowed us to directly involve the younger generation in our mission. The act of planting trees not only helps restore the local ecosystem but also symbolizes hope for a greener and more sustainable future. We were thrilled to witness the enthusiasm and determination of the children as they dug into the earth, nurturing the saplings that would grow alongside them.

As part of our momentous launch in Kenya, My Zalu Initiative proudly donated copies of “Zalu and the Magic Pink” to the school.
